Who We Are
Dufferin Rutherford Veterinary Hospital is an independently owned, full-service veterinary clinic proudly serving dogs and cats in the Vaughan community. Founded in 2010 by Dr. Abdul Eribi, our hospital combines over 20 years of clinical and emergency experience with a warm, neighbourhood-focused approach to care.
We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental services with an emphasis on clear communication, individualized treatment plans, and a calm, unrushed environment for both pets and their families. Whether you’re visiting for a routine wellness exam, diagnostics, surgery, or urgent care, our team is committed to delivering the highest standard of veterinary medicine with honesty, compassion, and expertise.
Meet our Veterinarian
Dr. Abdul Eribi
Veterinarian and Owner
Dr. Abdul Eribi is the founder and veterinarian of Dufferin Rutherford Veterinary Hospital. With over 20 years of practicing in the veterinary field in both emergency and clinic settings, he has built up a great amount of experience, critical knowledge and care for small animals.
Dr. Eribi was licensed from Guelph University in 2006 and worked as a veterinarian in the States for 4 years. He came back to Canada and worked at the Lauzon Urgent Care Hospital in Windsor before setting up his own hospital on Dufferin-Rutherford in 2010 to serve his own much-loved community and its animals.
He is known and greatly appreciated by his clients for his transparency and straightforwardness in communication and method of treatments.
Location & Hours
We are located just east of Dufferin Street and south of Rutherford Road in the Ritajo Shopping Centre.
Parking
There is outdoor parking directly in front of the clinic. Wheelchair accessible parking is available.
